Many clients who seek counseling for relief of depression and anxiety are never asked about possible childhood trauma. It is critical that therapists be aware of both the frequency and possible impact of such abuse, understand how to treat it effectively and care for themselves as they do so.

By attending this seminar, you will:

  • gain understanding about both PTSD and complex trauma
  • learn a three stage model of treatment
  • discover the spiritual impact of childhood trauma
  • learn more about the use of lament
  • gain insight into the impact of trauma work on the therapist

This seminar is approved for 6 CEUs and is approved by the State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors
